Tiffy’s Take

Sliquid Natural Swirls are water-based flavored lubricants made by Sliquid. They are a natural alternative to flavored lubricants made with glycerin. Great for those who are sensitive to ingredient or want to avoid it altogether. No matter which size you pick up, available in 2oz, 4oz, and 8oz bottles, all come with a push cap top, which makes application easier and less messy. And because they are available in 2oz bottles, you can take them with you even when your jet setting locally, across the country, or across the world, you can pack this into your carry-on, purse, or your back pocket.

The consistency of the Sliquid Natural Swirl lubricants are slightly viscous and doesn’t immediately run as soon as it leaves the bottle. Which is great for applying to a specific spot without having to worry about it getting everywhere but does spread nicely in case you want to get down and dirty! The Sliquid Natural Swirl lubricants doubles as a 2-in-1 as it can also be used for all types of sex, are compatible with all types of condoms, and can be used with all types of sex toys materials. So if you’re someone who doesn’t care for traveling with or using multiple lubricants, this can save you space and maybe some money as well. I personally think it’s important to have a good lube for partnered sex that everyone can enjoy.

Some ways you can use flavored lubricant are as follows: Blindfold your partner, apply some lube to their erogenous zones and lick it of slowly. This can build arousal and makes foreplay a little more interesting. You can apply some to your tongue and write letters that spell out a work somewhere on your partner and have them guess what it says. Another idea is applying a few drops to your genitals and having your partner guess the flavor while going down on you. So hot!

I got to try 4 flavors. Here’s my taste test results:

Blue Raspberry: A bright spritzy berry flavor with the perfect amount of sweetness. How do they encapsulate the flavor of a blue raspberry? The world may never know.

Tangerine Peach: This one has a citrusy punch combined with the mellowness of the peach flavor. Yum!

Green Apple Swirl: My personal favorite! Tastes exactly like a granny smith apple.

Strawberry Pomegranate: Bright berry flavor mixed with the slight tartness from the pomegranate.

Final Thoughts

If you are in the market for a mildly sweet glycerin free alternative to flavored lubricant that is 100% vagina-friendly that’s guaranteed to make sexual endeavor’s even more delicious, then I encourage you to give Sliquid Natural Swirl Lubricants a try.

Wet Desserts Flavored Lubricants

yummy

Some of the best ways to enhance intimacy and sexual pleasure is through the senses. Today, we are going to focus on the sense of taste with Wet Desserts Flavored Lubricants. So let’s dive in.

Features

  • Water-based formula
  • Decadent flavor and scent
  • Sugar-free and stain-free
  • Paraben-free
  • Available in 3oz bottles
  • Available in flavors Bananas Foster, Crème Brulee, Salted Caramel, Whipped Cream, and Frosted Cupcake

Ingredients

Water (Aqua), Glycerin, Pentylene Glycol, Carboxymethylcellulose, Flavor (Aroma), Sucralose, and Potassium Sorbate.

Tiffy’s Take

Let’s talk about consistency. I would describe the consistency of Wet Dessert Flavored Lubricants as thin and runny. It spreads easily doesn’t get sticky when it dries, though I doubt that will be the case once you taste it. Because of the push cap top on the bottles of this lubricant, applying as little or as much lube as you want to an area is a breeze and can be done without causing a mess. The lubricants are available in 3oz bottles making them great for travel, putting them in your pocket, or packing them in your purse. I got to try two flavors and here’s what I think of them:

Crème Brulee: When I think of Crème Brulee, I think about this custardy concoction with caramelized sugar laying over the top waiting for me to break that thin crispy glass with the back of my spoon. I get a light sweet mellow taste enhance by the sweetness of caramelized sugar. Delicious!

Bananas Foster: I never thought it would possible to encapsulate the flavor of caramelized bananas. It’s the taste of bananas made even sweeter with the added caramelization from the sugar spooned over vanilla ice cream with an added slightly buttery taste. My personal favorite of the two.

Tiffy’s Tip: Glycerin is a commonly used ingredient found in many lubricants. It is essentially a sugar and is known to cause irritation and yeast infections to those who are prone to them. Not everyone has this sensitivity for the most part, but some do. If you or your partner is sensitive to this ingredient or is prone to yeast infections, I would advise and suggest that you looking into a glycerin-free alternative.

I also wanted to add that this flavored lube does not have an aftertaste whatsoever. And a little goes a long way, so always start out with a little. Now that I’ve talked about the taste, let’s talk about the many ways you can use them. I personally like use the Wet Desserts Flavored Lubricant to spice things up while preforming oral sex. It can also be used during other types of foreplay such like drizzling some over your partner’s body and licking it off, trailing your tongue along their hotspots (a.k.a erogenous zones). A nice technique for building up arousal. You can also give the lube to your partner and allow them to place a drizzle or two anywhere on their body for you to lick off, even adding it as the result of a friendly wager. With consent of course.

Product Spotlight: Wicked Jelle Water Based Anal Lubricant

Wicked Jelle Lubricant Pic

Wicked Jelle Anal Lubricant is a water-based formula that gives those who have tried water based lubricants in the past, a thicker option for anal play. Let’s talk about why.

Features

  • Glycerin -Free
  • Paraben -Free
  • Latex Friendly
  • Long Lasting
  • pH Balanced
  • Easy Clean-up

Ingredients: Water, Propylene Glycol, Cellulose Gum, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Aloe), Olea Europaea (Olive) Leaf Extract, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Disodium EDTA, Citric Acid, Diazolidinyl Urea, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate.

How it Works

To Use: Apply a small amount of Jelle where lubrication is desired. Cleans away easily with water.

Tiffy’s Review

The first thing I noticed about the Wicked Jelle Water Based Anal Lubricant was it’s packaging. You don’t see many lubricants packaged in a squeeze tube. I assumed because its lubricant and it’s in a squeeze tube, that I would probably have to careful when I was dispensing the product but to my surprise there was no drip!

Wicked Jelle is high in viscosity. Probably the thickest gel lubricant I have ever used. I found when I applied it to my body or to a toy, it stayed in one place and didn’t move. With thinner lubricants, they can sometimes drip all over the place and make a mess. When using Wicked Jelle however, you need to apply and spread it onto your desired area.

Wicked Jelle is very slick and slippery and created a barrier between me and any sex toy I was using. It makes insertion more pleasant and made thrusting with my sex toys all the more enjoyable. Thought it is not meant to be used a flavored lubricant, it does have a slightly sweet taste.

I also found that I didn’t need allot of it when using it. The reason for that is because it’s so thick that takes a longer time to dry than lubes that aren’t as thick and this formula is concentrated, so a little really does go a long way. When it dries, it doesn’t leave a dry feeling on the skin, but it doesn’t dry down like a regular water-based lubricant. I found that out by testing it two ways: 1. Using it with a ton of sex toys and 2. Applying some product on the back of my hand and waiting for it to dry. I would suggest using a water to re-activate the product first before applying more product.

Because Wicked Jelle is water-based, it can be used with all sex toy materials and is ideal for anal sex. Since it is also glycerin-free and pH Balanced, it can be used vaginally and I personally would suggest it for vaginal penetration. If you don’t get in the shower right after doing the do, I would suggest cleaning up with a damp washcloth.

Final Thoughts

Whether you’re a beginner to anal play or anal expert, Wicked Jelle Water Based Anal Lubricant is a great option for those looking for a thicker alternative to thinner water-based products. It works great for all types of sex and a little goes a long way.

How To Make Lube Application Feel Sexy Instead Of Awkward

18f122ad-5b6f-4a53-9a9d-182881443b5b

We’re always hearing that we could be having better sex, a better orgasm, or a better relationship. But how often do we hear the nitty-gritty of how we can actually better understand our deepest desires and most embarrassing questions?

Bustle has enlisted Vanessa Marin, a sex therapist, to help us out with the details. No gender, sexual orientation, or question is off limits, and all questions will remain anonymous. Please send your sex and relationship inquiries to tips@bustle.com. Now on to this week’s question: how to make using lube feel sexy.

Q: “I’ve read about the benefits of using lube during sex. I am definitely on the drier side, so I know I should give it a shot. I bought some, but in the moment, I just can’t bring myself to actually use it during sex. I feel awkward interrupting the moment to pull out the bottle. I feel weird and on display slathering it on myself. Is there a way to put on lube that’s sexy and doesn’t pause everything?”

A: Thanks for the question! I think lube is one of the simplest, yet most effective, tools for improving your sex life. It decreases pain and discomfort, makes sex feel better, and can be an awful lot of fun to play around with. That being said, I know a lot of people still feel uncomfortable using lube, for some of the exact reasons you described. But we shouldn’t let goopy bottles or a fear of busting it out ruin the entire experience! Here are eight ways to make lube feel sexier.

  1. Treat Yourself

Most people buy their lube at the drugstore, but it’s hard to get very excited by an ugly bottle that cost you three bucks. If you can afford it, I highly recommend splurging on a high-quality bottle of lube like Pjur or Wicked. It will feel more luxurious and special, which will help you feel less embarrassed whipping it out. If you’re in a relationship, you can even research your purchase together so it feels like a treat for both of you.

  1. Put It In A Cute Lotion Dispenser

Even the best lube manufacturers have yet to address what I think is the most frustrating aspect of using lube: dealing with the bottle in the moment! Pjur brand is my holy grail of lubes, but I hate the screw-top design. The cap inevitably slides out of your hands, it’s difficult to figure out exactly how much you’re dispensing, and it’s tricky not to get lube all over the bottle.

But here’s a simple solution — transfer your lube into a pretty pump dispenser! The pump makes it easy to get lube quickly and discretely. It ensures that at least one hand stays lube-free, so you won’t have to worry about trying to put a cap back on while your fingers are slippery. You can find a beautiful bottle that suits your tastes and won’t look out of place on your bedside table, meaning it will always be within reach instead of buried at the bottom of your drawer.

  1. Experiment With It On Your Own

If you’re brand-new to using lube, it may take a bit of time to get comfortable using it. Let me be clear — there’s absolutely nothing to be embarrassed about when it comes to using lube. But if you’re feeling awkward about using it, the best way to get more comfortable is to use it on your own first. Try masturbating with lube. Play with it with your fingers. Notice the way it changes the sensation of your own touch. See if you can make masturbation more of a sensual, seductive experience.

  1. Use It During A Massage

Similarly, it may take some time to get used to using lube with a partner. One really easy way to introduce lube to your relationship is to use it during a massage. A lot of people don’t know that lube can work well as a regular massage oil. Tell your partner that you have a surprise for them, then get a little bit of lube in your hands and rub their shoulders. As you both get turned on, you can say something like, “we can play with this in other areas too.”

  1. Put It On Privately

If you’re feeling shy about using lube with your partner, you can always keep a bottle in your bathroom and put it on privately. Or keep a few single-use packets in your purse if you’re going to a partner’s house. Again, there’s nothing to be embarrassed about, but it’s fine to give yourself some time to build up your courage. (Keep in mind that you don’t want to let your partner perform oral sex if you’re using a lube that’s not specifically designed to be tasted, but this trick should work just fine before manual stimulation or penetration.)

  1. Ask Your Partner To Put It On You

Once you’re feeling more comfortable with the lube, hand your bottle to your partner and tell them, “I want you to put some of this on me.” Have them spend some time rubbing and massaging your thighs, labia, and clitoris. This way, lube becomes a part of the action instead of just some weird step you do before you’re ready to go.

  1. Put It On Your Partner

If you usually engage in penetrative sex, you can try applying the lube to your partner’s dildo or penis. Apply a generous amount, since you want the lube to transfer to your vaginal canal during penetration. Play with your partner’s equipment for a while. If you want to up the sensation play factor, blindfold your partner or ask them to close their eyes, then surprise them with an extra-slippery hand job. This is another way to make lube a part of the fun!

  1. Put On A Show

Once you’re feeling more bold, one of the best ways to make lube sexy in the moment is to put on a show for your partner. Grab some lube, spread your legs, and let your partner watch you rub it all over yourself. If you’re feeling really seductive, say something like, “do you like watching that?” I guarantee you that this move will make you and your partner practically explode with desire!

Ronda Rousey’s Lube Diss

wicked_aqua_collection1

I love this article, as recently published in XBIZ, one of the adult novelty trades I subscribe to. It addresses the miseducation of sex by public figures in such a great way:

Wicked Sensual Care says it would like to publicly educate MMA and UFC fighter Ronda Rousey about lubricants — and offer her a lifetime supply of products — after she recently ‘dismissed the use of lubricant for sex as a sign of laziness’ in a Q&A with Maxim.com.

In a Nov.3 interview, Rousey answered a question from a fan about what a guy should never and always do in bed with a woman. In the answer, which is part of her column for Maxim.com, Rousey wrote, “What should a guy always do? Take his time. In general, a girl takes a minute. He needs to get her ready. You should never need lube in your life. If you need lube, then you’re being lazy…and you’re not taking your time.”

Carrie Smith, head of product development for Wicked Sensual Care, has responded:

“Ms. Rousey, on behalf of everyone at Wicked Sensual Care, I’d like to tell you how big of fans we are in regards to everything you continue to achieve as an athlete and woman. You stand for beauty in strength, as well as changing body images and gender stereotypes. Your success provides you with a great platform to reach people, which is why I was concerned to hear your thoughts on lube when addressing Maxim readers.

Lubricant is perhaps one of the most essential elements of a healthy and enjoyable sexual experience, regardless of age or gender. Some of the reasons include: its ability to reduce friction, whether natural or from a condom; decrease in the odds a condom will break; assist with sex after menopause; help those with Sexual Arousal Disorder and vaginal dryness; and in the case of Wicked Sensual Care, act as a natural biostatic due to our use of olive leaf extract.

In addition, flavored lubes, like our own Salted Caramel and Candy Apple flavors, make oral pleasures even tastier, while lubes with heating and cooling elements provide added sensations. And of course, lubricant is imperative for anyone engaging in anal sex.

There is no normal when it comes to sex, and everyone is different. If we perpetuate the idea a woman can become naturally lubricated by her partner simply doing the necessary work, then we are ignoring the many women unable to self lubricate due to a number of medical and psychological reasons. We are also putting pressure on the men and women trying to help them become lubricated.

Ideally, sex is fun and pleasurable, which is where lubricants come in to help create the most stress-free environment possible. I welcome any questions you may have, and if you’re so inclined, I am happy to offer you a lifetime supply of Wicked Sensual Care’s products because I believe you may change your mind once you experience the many different types of lubricants now available, from water-based and silicone-based, to our wide range of flavored and PETA-approved lubes demonstrating how far we’ve progressed with sexual health and wellness products.”

Rousey may contact Carrie Smith with any questions about the benefits of lube, or to take her up on the offer for a lifetime supply, the company says.

The Wicked Sensual Care Collection uses eco-conscious, premium quality, natural botanicals and ingredients in stylish and discreet packaging.”

Honestly, I’m so thankful for caring manufacturers who take the time to address issues like this, and am proud to say that Body Candy has been a proud supporter of their line from the start.
